Siobhan Silverhawk always knew she was different. Or, at least, that she was supposed to be. But the mortals she dated couldn’t handle the idea of her being a witch, while the wizards wouldn't tolerate her lack of powers. She feels incomplete; not really a witch and not fully a woman.

Two years ago, a fatal car wreck suddenly left J.B. Pendleton a widower and single father. His young son claims his mother is still with him, but J.B. believes in logic and tangible evidence so he moved them to Sedona, right next door to sexy Siobhan.

Despite the many classes Siobhan has attended at the ‘magic rehab center’ she feels like a fraud.  J.B. thinks she is one, too, but he let his son talk him into drinking a ‘love elixir’. The crazy cocktail must have worked, though, because suddenly he can’t stop thinking about her...

What Reviewers Have Written

With a handful of words, Mia Zachary brings love to a witch without her powers, a motherless child and a man wary of believing. Sprinkle in some highly colorful characters and the possible existence of a jealous ghost and you have a delightful story that makes the SPIRIT DANCE.

~*~*~*~*

Spirit Dance is steeped in magic and Indian lore, bringing together a couple in a story that is both heartwarming and sexy. Siobhan didn’t have any powers, but when she connects with J.B., does something happen? Throw in a little boy who misses his mother, and readers will be rooting for everyone to have a happily-ever-after.

~*~*~*~

SPIRIT DANCE is a wonderful paranormal. The characters are strong, and the story line is one I would like to believe in. Can two people find love, despite their different views? Mia Zachary has a winner on her hands.

Read a sample chapter:

“You don’t look like a bitch, Sisi.”

“Excuse me?!” Siobhan Silverhawk blinked twice at the six-year-old earnestly studying her with dark satin eyes.

“Benjamin Joseph...”

His father, John Bradley Pendleton, crossed his arms over his broad chest. His imposing height and muscular build, combined with serious hazel eyes and a commanding air, should have made him all the more intimidating. But Ben simply ignored the glower.

“What? Mommy called her a bitch whose magic power is stealing men’s hearts. I just wanna know if it’s true ‘cause I’m kind of a man and I need my heart and--”

“And that’s enough, Ben. That’s not a word I ever want to hear you use again.” J.B. pointed for emphasis. “Apologize to Siobhan.”

“Saw-ree.” The boy’s expression made it clear he didn’t understand what he was sorry for. “So are you a- You know, one?”

“Yes, I am, kiddo.” She reached out to ruffle Ben’s soft curls. “But that’s witch with a ‘W’, okay?”

“You don’t look like a witch, either. You don’t have a pointy hat or green skin or tentacles or anything.”

J.B. choked back a laugh. “Tentacles?”

Ben nodded. “From the Little Mermaid movie. That witch was like an octopus on the bottom.”

Heat tinted her cheeks as J.B.’s gaze slowly traveled the length of her legs, from her ankles to the short hem of her floral sundress. Then he looked at her and winked. “Nope, no sign of tentacles.”

“No green skin, either. I do, however, come from a family of powerful magic users.”

J.B. cleared his throat, his expression closing. “I know you have to play a certain role for the tourists looking for entertainment, but I’ve told Ben the truth.”

“And which truth is that?” She barely kept the sarcasm from her voice, already knowing the answer.

“That there’s no such thing as witches or ghosts except on TV; that there’s nothing magic except for tricks at birthday parties.”
